Reporting to the AVP, Genstone Construction, the Construction Project Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and completion of Construction projects. The role coordinates various aspects of the project, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
The Construction Project Coordinator assists in the preparation, review, and administration of contractual proposals relating to Construction projects. The role is responsible to manage bids, secure necessary approvals and ensure that standard procedures are followed.
The role works with the customer and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project operations.
What you will do for Genstone Construction:
Responsible for meeting the requirements and strict procedures associated with customer Service Level Agreements (SLA's) and timelines
Oversee the initial stages of the renovation of a portfolio of REO assets
Conduct the intake and onboarding process for incoming home renovation requests
Maintain accurate records of all requests, assessments, and communications in a clear and organized manner in the database
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during initial renovation and for bid-related inquiries and clarifications
Review, prepare and submit bids in the required format ensuring accuracy prior to client review
Collaborate with estimators, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on bid submissions and client expectations
Source and facilitate quality control inspections per company policy
Procure and monitor inspections to ensure turn times are met or exceeded per company policy
Source and recruit qualified contractors from internal network
Trains new specialists as needed
Ability to track tasks and manage tight deadlines
Develop domain knowledge of Fay’s business to include an understanding of department goals and company objectives
Ensure compliance with Fay’s policies, processes, practices, and regulatory requirements
Model ethical standards, professionalism, and code of conduct
Demonstrate behaviors that align with Fay's Values and Operating Principles
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
What you will bring to Genstone Construction: Bachelor’s degree in related field (or equivalent combination of years of experience with High school diploma/GED) required
Previous years' experience in remodeling, REO or Construction Management
Previous years' mortgage servicing or construction experience preferred
Previous years' client relations/support experience and construction knowledge
Previous years' experience coordinating renovation projects for a portfolio of properties
Previous experience managing projects
Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced workplace
Strong skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Demonstrated analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
Good judgment with the ability to evaluate and make decisions regarding renovation management
Strong time management skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
