Job Description:
Responsibilities: Work with outside firms to develop and maintain construction standards . Lead workgroup draft reviews. Capture feedback and ensure implementation into revisions. Review standards / specifications with upper management. Develop annual schedule and track to completion. Report status monthly. Review construction change requests, major breakdown reports and customer feedback for lessons learned to be incorporated into revisions. Support study requests as needed (renewals and utilities). Requirements: 5+ year experience with standards / specifications in construction industry (AE firm, Construction planning, Standards development). Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field. Strong project management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Blu Beam (or other PDF editing software). Additional Desired Qualifications: Professional Engineering License (PE). 3+ year experience in industrial mechanical systems (piping, chilled water, compressed air, etc).
