The Onsite Field Engineer reports to the Project Manager
* *Required Experience*
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Business. A minimum of TWO (2) years of experience in the construction industry.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Responsibilities :
* Construction * Construction safety knowledge * Site logistics coordination * Site layout and stake out (line & grade) * Subcontractor coordination and look-ahead scheduling * Site daily reporting process * Quality control process * Subcontract administration and enforcement * Read and interpret project specifications, drawings and CPM schedule * Submittal and RFI review and interpretation * Redline drawing updates * Support of Project Manager and Superintendent * Complete detailed daily reports * Document existing conditions thoroughly * Schedule material deliveries and coordinate the logistics of such - schedule, lay down area, storage, etc. * Provide input to the 2 week look ahead schedule * Solve routine problems - if assistant cannot solve, then present to superintendent * Supervise a specific part of the project * Must be able to coordinate subcontractor work with help from the superintendent * Must be able to read, understand and communicate information from construction drawings and specifications, submittal data, and other project correspondence as required * Perform weekly Safety meetings * Monitor project for unsafe conditions * Give proper and immediate direction to correct unsafe conditions * Enforce Titan's Safety Policies * Coordinate the work of multiple subcontractors within the space and time allotted
