In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from start to finish. This role ensures that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to design specifications. The Project Engineer will work closely with project managers, site supervisors, contractors, and various stakeholders.*Duties** Assist in project planning and scheduling activities.* Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.* Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.* Track project progress and maintain detailed reports, logs, and records.* Monitor material procurement and inventory to avoid delays.* Support quality control, safety inspections, and ensure compliance with local codes and standards.* Prepare and submit RFIs (Requests for Information) and submittals.* Assist in budget tracking, cost control, and change order management.* Participate in meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.* Ensure all work is executed in accordance with the project scope and requirements.*Qualifications** Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field.* 1-3 years of experience in construction project engineering or similar role.* Strong understanding of construction methods, safety standards, and engineering principles.* Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.* OSHA certification is a plus.Join us in shaping the future of our projects while advancing your career in the construction industry!Job Type: Full-timePay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:* Dental insurance* Fuel card* Health insurance* Life insurance* Retirement plan* Vision insuranceCompensation Package:* Bonus opportunitiesSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Monday to FridayPeople with a criminal record are encouraged to applyAbility to Commute:* Augusta, GA 30907 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Augusta, GA 30907: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)Work Location: In person
