The Construction Project Lead position focuses on overseeing construction projects to ensure they are completed within set budgets, timelines, and quality standards. This role provides a high level of autonomy and direct oversight of budget management, while also promoting collaboration among internal teams and external parties such as owners, architects, engineers, and contractors. The job is based in Fort Wayne, IN and does not offer remote work options. Primary Duties Create detailed project plans outlining schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and key milestones.

Perform feasibility studies and site assessments to optimize project execution.

Develop and oversee project budgets, ensuring financial responsibility and efficient resource utilization.

Supervise cost estimation and procurement procedures, ensuring compliance with financial plans.

Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary project teams, comprising architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

Promote team communication and collaboration to achieve project goals.

Identify potential risks and implement proactive risk management strategies.

Enforce safety protocols and industry best practices to protect on-site personnel.

Create and maintain detailed project schedules to ensure on-time completion of construction phases.

Adjust timelines and resource allocations as necessary based on project progress and challenges.

Negotiate contracts with stakeholders to secure favorable terms aligned with project objectives.

Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality service and material delivery. Requirements Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

At least 10 years of experience in commercial construction project management.

Thorough knowledge of construction processes, methods, and project management techniques.

Proficiency in software tools like Procore, CMIC, ASTA, Excel, and Bluebeam.
