1.1 Expected to manage time well to enhance productivity, meet deadlines, and deliver successful outcomes both within the company and for external clients. 1.9 Consistently provide direct support for clients. Foster strong relationships through regular communication, understanding the client's expectations, and delivering. 2.1 Utilize drawings and project schedules to map out complex building processes. Use scheduling tools and software to optimize project timelines and resource allocation.
2.2 Effectively negotiate contracts, ensuring that the terms are favorable and protect the company's interests. Address any disputes or issues promptly and with professionalism. Ensure that all contractual obligations are met by all parties throughout the span of the project. Make sure key contract terms and scope items are included in subcontract(s).
2.3 Use past data and project insights, as well as predictive analysis, to accurately estimate project costs. Prepare detailed bid proposals that reflect a thorough understanding of the project's scope and specifications. Analyze financial forecasts to determine pricing strategies and accurate Schedule of Value (SOVs).
2.4 Implement systems to monitor actual performance against the planned objectives. Provide regular progress reports to the team that highlight achievements and areas for needed improvement. Uses performance data to make informed decisions and adjust plans to stay on track with project schedule. Skillfully adapts and recalibrates direction based on data (from metrics to anecdotal). Responsive and decisive to keep projects moving when projects begin to slip.
2.5 Monitor schedule milestones to evaluate cost and schedule performance. Analyze the data to identify trends and potential risks and implement corrective measures when necessary. Ensure that the projects are completed within the budget and on time. Able to create reports on variances of planned and actual performance.
2.6 Regularly meet with AR Specialist to review job financials and bill as per need and provide explanation of circumstance (ex. missing PO, CO not signed off, client has not authorized, T&M billing and job not complete). Confirm the current job contract and estimated costs to complete are accurate. Reviewing all assigned jobs to ensure that any jobs that should be closed are closed. Maintain healthy projection of cash flow. Able to effectuate timely billing in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects.
2.7 Utilize cost engineering techniques in forecasting and trending to measure the project performance. Analyze project information to predict future performance and outcomes. Use data-driven insights to identify opportunities for cost saving and efficiency improvements ensuring profitability and on time delivery.
3.1 Supervise project engineers assigned to this project by providing guidance and support to enhance their professional growth. Lead project engineers in the preparation of RFIs (Requests for Information) and submittals to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements. Offer technical guidance on all aspects of the building process. Collaborates with the Leader of Project Engineer Program. Supports established training sessions to keep the team updated on industry standards and best practices. Assists to lead and support others while modeling leadership, questions, and attendance.
3.2 Maintains high standards of file organization, accurate management, and ensures all files are up to date. Skillfully coordinates, strategically plans, and directs construction from drawings and specifications. Manages and ensures the drawings, specifications, and construction documents, information from corresponding sheet notes, details, and schedules for projects are accurate. Expertly manages and prioritizes multiple submittals, RFI, ACD, or ASI at the same time. Forecasting and anticipating needs and keeps production on schedule.
3.3 Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractor owner representatives. Negotiate contracts with subcontractors to secure the best terms and conditions for the project. Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure quality work and adherence to timelines.
3.4 Work closely with field superintendents to align field activities with overall project objectives. Offer guidance on resolving field issues and implementing solutions. This position requires job site visits once a week or minimum two times a month.
3.5 Adept understanding of HCAi & City building process. Able to critically access quality of craftmanship and demand excellence as it pertains to SOW, quality standards, and communication to coordinate with Superintendents to deliver on expectations. Can maximize relationships to meet or exceed contractual obligations to ensure best of class service and production for FTG clients.
*Required skills and qualifications:*
* Must be authorized to work in the United States. * Has a portfolio of demonstrated excellence of past design build projects. * Skillful communicator and able to lead and motivate teams. * Must have a valid driver's license, vehicle, and willingness to travel to project sites * Bachelor's or master's degree(s) in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, structural engineering, and/or construction management, plus 6 to 10 years of OSHPD experience.

* 10 to 15 years of OSHPD or hospital facilities experience and no degree.
