Construction Project Manager - Residential Pools

The Construction Project Manager - Residential Pools is responsible for overseeing pool construction from start to finish, ensuring a smooth process for customers, team members, and subcontractors. In this role, the Pool Project Manager must be able to plan appropriately, communicate effectively, and delegate efficiently to meet timelines and budgets for each project. This is a full-time position and may include occasional weekend work based on project timelines. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Project Coordination: Plan and keep track of project timelines, budgets, and resources. Work with clients, designers, contractors, and subcontractors to get things done right. Oversee all aspects of pool construction-digging, plumbing, concrete installation, electrical work, and finishing. Manage Budgets & Resources: Track project costs and make sure everything stays within budget. Order materials and pool equipment, ensuring they arrive on time. Make sure the right people and equipment are available when needed. Lead a Team: Supervise and guide a team on each project, ensuring the work is high quality and on schedule. Help solve any issues or delays to keep things moving forward. Client Communication: Keep clients updated on how the project is going and make sure their expectations are met. Be the point of contact for any questions or concerns. Build good relationships with clients, keeping them satisfied and informed. Reporting: Keep track of project progress and make sure all the necessary documentation is in order. Handle inspections and approvals. QUALIFICATIONS: 3-5 years of experience in the construction field required Education: High school diploma or GED required Bachelor's degree in construction management or a similar field preferred Skills: Knowledge of new pool construction (digging, plumbing, electrical, and finishing). Proficiency in use of project management software (Procore, Buildertrend, JobTread) Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required. Excellent communication, organizational, and team leadership skills WORKING CONDITIONS: Primarily outside in the elements Project Managers must be prepared to work in multiple weather conditions, including extreme heat, freezing temperatures, bend, stoop, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs. COMPENSATION: Annual Salary $80K - 85K Commission Plan offers 3% commission on projects with a completed margin up to 55% and 5% commission on projects with a completed margin above 55%.
