Known for our exceptional quality and leadership in the construction industry, we specialize in commercial construction projects across multiple sectors—including healthcare construction, K-12 school construction, historic preservation and hospitality, municipal projects, and other commercial developments throughout the Southeast.

This is a great opportunity for a results-driven professional with a passion for leading complex commercial construction projects from start to finish.

About the Role

As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full life cycle of construction projects—from pre-construction planning through completion and closeout. Your daily tasks will include managing project budgets, construction schedules, procurement of materials, construction site safety, quality control, and coordination between architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.

You will ensure that every phase of construction is delivered on time, within scope, within budget, and in compliance with building codes, OSHA regulations, safety standards, and client expectations.

Responsibilities

In this full-time project management role, your work will include:

  • Leading and coordinating all phases of commercial construction projects, including budget preparation, bidding, contract administration, and field supervision
  • Managing and maintaining project schedules using industry-standard project management software to ensure on-time delivery
  • Conducting regular construction site visits to ensure job site safety, compliance with building and safety regulations, and overall construction quality control
  • Collaborating with design professionals, consultants, and construction superintendents to address project needs and resolve field issues
  • Tracking and managing RFIs, change orders, submittals, and all relevant construction documentation
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with owners, stakeholders, and subcontractors through professional communication and proactive problem-solving
  • Leading construction project meetings, maintaining reports, and providing updates to senior leadership and clients

Qualifications

We’re looking for a construction management professional with:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred)
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, ideally with ground-up or renovation projects in healthcare, education, municipal, or hospitality construction
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, building materials, construction contracts, and regulatory requirements
  • Experience managing large-scale commercial construction projects, from estimating through punch-out and closeout
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, or other project management tools
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills
  • PMP certification is a plus but not required

Compensation & Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package that includes:

  • A salary commensurate with experience in commercial construction project management
  • Generous paid time off (PTO)
  • Health insurance, dental, vision, and life insurance
  • A 401(k) plan with company match
  • Ongoing opportunities for career advancement, training, and professional development
  • A supportive, collaborative work environment with exciting, meaningful projects
