Job Details
Responsibilities
* Manage and lead multiple active projects across various civil construction scopes * Prepare and submit competitive bids across all trade disciplines * Evaluate, price, and track all change orders * Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications to ensure accurate field execution * Lead and participate in all project meetings with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders * Maintain responsibility for all submittals, RFIs, and project documentation * Oversee and support monthly requisitions and coordinate with accounting for invoice approvals * Monitor job progress and ensure all projects remain on schedule and within scope * Review and update project schedules monthly in coordination with the field team * Collaborate with the safety department to ensure site compliance with internal and external safety standards * Perform job costing and track financial health of each project
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline * Minimum 5 years of field experience in civil construction project management * Strong knowledge of sitework, excavation, utilities, and roadway construction * Proven experience managing subcontractors, schedules, job costing, and change order processes * Ability to lead meetings, interpret drawings, and manage multiple concurrent projects * Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills * Proficiency with Microsoft Office, scheduling software, and construction documentation systems
Nice to Haves
* Experience in urban infrastructure projects or tight-site conditions * Previous work with public sector projects and documentation standards * Familiarity with Sage 300, Timberline, or similar project cost management software * OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR certifications
