Your new company: An established commercial general contractor with over 40+ years of experience are looking to hire for a Project Manager to lead a pipeline of new build construction projects in Northern Virginia. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager who seeks to become a Senior Project Manager and onto a Project Executive in the future. Your new role: Construction Project Manager position to oversee new build construction builds across the Northern Virginia area, notably Prince William, Fairfax, and Loudoun County areas. Projects will be mixed commercial ranging from warehouse, manufacturing, office in the range of $10M - $50M. You will take ownership and lead the core Project Management functions for your assigned projects, with daily responsibilities including client engagement, overseeing scheduling and risk management, project, and loss analysis, as well as supporting with preconstruction and wider business strategy. You will have the responsibility to lead a team consisting of an APM, PE and field management. As the company grows there will be the opportunity for you to develop into a Senior Project Manager and/or Project Executive position where you will begin to manage a team of Project Managers. What you'll need to succeed: 5-12 years' experience in commercial construction as a Project Manager working for a general contractor. Ability and track record to deliver new construction projects in the $10M - $50M range from the ground up. Project experience in the commercial construction and ideally on light industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, or office projects. Comfortable in working on construction projects in Prince William, Fairfax, and Loudoun County. Position will fluctuate between the field and office. Looking to invest long-term into a growing general contractor and passionate about continuing to develop your skill set into a Senior Project Manager role.
