General Contractor hiring for a lead Project Manager

HAYS are exclusively representing a commercial general contractor based in the Alexandria area who are looking to hire a Project Manager (or Senior Project Manager) to lead a strong pipeline of mixed-commercial interior projects.

Looking to connect with Project Management professionals with 5+ years of commercial construction experience working for a general contractor and have taken full ownership of projects.

What you'll need to succeed: 5+ years' experience working for a general contractor as a Project Manager, delivering interior fit-out and renovation projects. Knowledgeable in taking full ownership of projects including the management of schedules, budgets, OAC meetings, subcontractor communications and construction documentation. Have gained exposure to a range of market sectors such as Retail, Office, Education, Church and Restaurant. Degree qualified in a construction related discipline is preferred but not essential. Will look at professionals coming from a subcontractor background. Accessible to commute into and around Northern Virginia and DC. What you'll get in return: Base salary assessed on skill set and experience, range of $100K - $140K. Company Vehicle, gas card and maintenance covered. Yearly bonus potential in the range of 10-20% of your salary. Company paid Healthcare, Dental and Vision plan, with family plans available. Starting 3 weeks of PTO plus holidays. 401K plan with a company match. Smaller, family feel environment, not a corporate structure allowing you to have creative freedom in the position and your voice heard in decision making processes.
