Our client, a reputable company in the Commercial HVAC industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Project Manager. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing relationships with customers, overseeing project details, and maintaining a high standard of work quality.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain relationships with customers through regular contact.

Prepare and submit weekly timesheets for jobsite visits and project management activities.

Oversee proposal details, particularly in defining the scope of work not included.

Contact vendors and subcontractors to verify pricing for projects.

Review customer contract for accuracy before forwarding to the President for signature.

Maintain awareness of the escalation of materials and/or labor costs.

Provide schedules and manpower estimates to Engineering and Production groups.

Issue subcontracts for any work not performed by the company.

Prepare and provide monthly progress billings.

Assure that issues impacting the project or customer are properly documented.

Attend and actively participate in weekly staff and sales meetings.

Stay updated on current building construction and energy codes.

Qualifications:

Five or more years of related work experience

Demonstrated ability to manage details and meet deadlines in a multi-task environment

Customer service-oriented approach, with a sense of urgency in responding to requests

Proactive, self-motivated, and able to identify and resolve or escalate issues appropriately

Strong people skills and ability to think out of the box

High degree of honesty, ethics, and integrity

Able to operate personal computer, calculator, and other office machines

Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Able to work sitting or standing and to move freely throughout the facility

Frequent travel required

Valid Driver’s License
