Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage government construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience navigating the unique demands of public sector contracts, managing multiple subcontractors, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage construction projects for government clients (federal, state, local)
  • Oversee on-site operations and ensure compliance with contract documents, safety standards, and government regulations
  • Collaborate with estimators, superintendents, subcontractors, and procurement teams
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reports
  • Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and meetings with stakeholders
  • Serve as the point of contact for government agencies and ensure all reporting, communication, and documentation meet contract standards
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, prevailing wage requirements, and project specifications
  • Maintain accurate project records and support audit readiness

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred
  • Previous experience as a Construction Manager
  • Project management certification is preferred
  • Deep understanding of construction management methods and processes
  • Advanced knowledge of construction methods, building products, and building codes
  • Strong leadership and crisis resolution skills
  • Familiar with Microsoft Excel and construction management software
  • Ability to break large projects into small steps
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a strong emphasis on government or public sector contracts
  • Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar government construction projects
  • Deep understanding of FAR, Davis-Bacon Act, and other federal regulations
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred
  • Ability to travel to job sites as needed
