Overview: Akkodis is seeking a full time, on site, Sr. Project Manager to lead the construction, integration, and commissioning of mission-critical data centers. This role ensures technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery across all phases-from site development to handover. Pay: 70 - 75/hr Contract 12+ months Onsite in Goodyear, AZ Key Responsibilities: Design & Engineering Oversight: Collaborate with architects/engineers to ensure resilient, scalable, and redundant infrastructure design (mechanical/electrical systems, HVAC, fire suppression). Ensure compliance with Tier III/IV standards and industry best practices. Construction Management: Supervise site development: selection, grading, excavation, foundation, and steel erection. Coordinate installation of critical systems: UPS, generators, cooling, access control, fire suppression, and security. Overseeing high-voltage electrical work and HVAC integration to support uninterrupted operations. Workforce & Contractor Coordination: Manage a diverse, multicultural workforce including third-country nationals. Lead site meetings to align contractors, vendors, and subcontractors with project expectations. Ensure adherence to local labor laws, safety protocols, and accommodation logistics. Risk & Compliance: Identify and mitigate project risks (budget, schedule, environment). Ensure compliance with health/safety regulations, environmental standards, and local/international codes (e.g., seismic, fire, electrical). Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting. Oversee procurement and subcontractor/vendor invoice review and approval. Provide regular status updates and risk assessments to stakeholders. Commissioning & Handover: Oversee testing and integration of all critical infrastructure. Ensure full operational readiness, documentation (as-builts, manuals, warranties), Qualifications: 7+ years of experience managing large scale construction projects (data center builds preferred) Ability to manage a team of project managers. Ability to confidently provide program support as a lead, working closely with a base build team. The right resource will be comfortable being handed the metaphorical keys, and driving the projects independently.
