MUST HAVES 5+ years of self-perform commercial asphalt/concrete project management experience 6+ years total construction experience preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite + construction/project management software Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and teams independently Willingness to travel throughout the region and answer the phone! About the Role: We’re hiring a Project Manager to lead all aspects of self-perform asphalt and concrete projects across Tennessee and surrounding states. You'll own project planning, budget management, scheduling, safety, and team coordination, while ensuring high-quality delivery. Own full P&L oversight for assigned projects, reporting to company leadership
Manage preconstruction setup: phase codes, budgets, SOVs, time coding
Drive project scheduling from start to closeout; issue weekly updates
Coordinate RFIs, submittals, change orders, and trade meetings
Oversee quality control, safety compliance (OSHA & company standards)
Host weekly cost reviews; proactively address production/labor issues
Lead monthly project forecasting; track financial performance
Build and maintain strong client and subcontractor relationships
Ensure timely, accurate closeout and documentation
Juggle multiple projects and assist in scaling internal operations
