Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Manager to oversee the construction phase of commercial real estate projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing timelines, costs, and quality to ensure the successful delivery of each project. This role reports directly to the Senior Project Manager and Director of Construction and will play a key part in a growing team with long-term career potential.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the construction phase of commercial real estate projects from start to finish
Oversee and collaborate with Superintendents and Project Engineers
Manage subcontractor procurement and ensure adherence to project schedules and specifications
Accurately track and post job costs
Review and estimate project general conditions and manpower requirements
Work closely with the Superintendent to forecast labor needs for self-performed work
Coordinate with design consultants and assist in decision-making during construction
Facilitate implementation of design changes, including MEP updates
Liaise with local agencies to secure entitlements and permits
Evaluate drawings and documents for constructability and cost efficiency
Participate in value engineering reviews and design meetings
Track project progress and provide weekly updates
Contribute to budgeting and scheduling efforts
Conduct final reviews of completed projects and oversee the closeout process
Review submittals to ensure compliance with project specifications
Assist with schedule recovery plans when needed
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
Minimum 3 years of preconstruction project management or 5 years in construction management
Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
