The Project Manager will work closely with project management teams and clients to plan, develop, and oversee site projects while establishing priorities. The role requires keeping projects within budget, schedule, and scope, and managing all aspects of cost management, including estimating, funding, budgeting, forecasting, controlling, and reporting. The Project Manager will utilize extensive knowledge of project scheduling, bids, take-offs, change orders, and contracts to identify and process scope changes, address issues, and communicate regarding project milestones. Continuous development of relationships to identify and cultivate opportunities is essential, along with devising new approaches to problems, preparing or modifying drawings, specifications, calculations, charts, and graphs, and monitoring work for compliance with applicable codes and accepted engineering practices. Ensuring all equipment, tools, and employees assigned to the project operate according to government regulations and customer requirements is crucial. The Project Manager will monitor the execution of safety programs and staff performance and provide regular updates on project status to management. This role involves regular travel to job sites to oversee projects.

Plan, develop, and oversee site projects while establishing priorities.

Maintain project budget, schedule, and scope.

Manage cost aspects including estimating, funding, budgeting, forecasting, controlling, and reporting.

Identify and process scope changes, and address issues using knowledge of project scheduling, bids, take-offs, change orders, and contracts.

Cultivate relationships to identify and capitalize on opportunities.

Develop new approaches to problems and prepare or modify drawings, specifications, calculations, charts, and graphs.

Ensure compliance with applicable codes and accepted engineering practices.

Ensure equipment, tools, and staff operate according to regulations and customer requirements.

Monitor safety programs and staff performance.

Provide regular project status updates to management.

Travel to job sites regularly to oversee projects.

5+ years of experience as a Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager in industrial construction settings.

Experience in the construction of manufacturing facilities, data centers, warehouses, and chemical processing facilities.

Mechanical experience on industrial construction projects.

Proficiency in Bluebeam, construction management, change orders, construction submittals, rigging, project coordination, mechanical systems, commercial construction, estimation, estimating software, blueprint reading, RFI, budgeting, construction documents, electrical design, data center, and piping.

Preferred estimating experience within industrial settings using software like Excel, Bluebeam, and Trimble.

Ideally, 5-10 years of experience with industrial project management.

The Industrial Project Manager will be based in the office at times but must be open to traveling to job sites and leading teams to complete projects. The role involves consistent participation in both in-person and virtual meetings throughout the week, with a focus on business development and relationship building. A hands-on approach on-site is encouraged. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with flexibility depending on project scope and schedule. If work starts early, leaving early is an option, and office presence is required only when necessary.

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $185000.00/yr.
