We are seeking a highly experienced Construction QA/QC Manager who possesses a robust understanding of both Electrical and Mechanical systems, particularly in the context of data center construction projects. This role is crucial for ensuring the utmost quality and reliability of both electrical and mechanical installations, which are essential for uninterrupted data center operations. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of quality assurance experience, with a strong emphasis on managing diverse teams and integrating multidisciplinary quality standards and practices. A deep understanding of one discipline (either electrical or mechanical systems) is required, complemented by a working knowledge of the other. This position demands a strategic leader who can oversee complex projects, ensure compliance with industry standards, and drive continuous improvement in quality processes. Key Responsibilities MUST HAVE ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE; DATA CENTER CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS!! Implement and oversee site-specific quality control plans across multiple projects. Manage and review Quality Process Logs. Ensure comprehensive understanding and compliance with the contract, plans, specifications, and applicable codes. Conduct high-level field inspections and oversee the inspection process to verify contractor’s work complies with project specifications and codes. Analyze potential discrepancy reports, manage discrepancy tracking, and ensure corrective actions are effective prior to closure. Lead the resolution of non-conforming work and enforce contract compliance. Supervise the review of Subcontractors' Quality Control Daily Logs. Oversee the coordination of subcontractor test and inspection requests and ensure a unified Daily Test and Inspection Schedule. Conduct audits of subcontractor quality control procedures. Oversee the documentation and submission of Daily Reports of Quality Control activity. Lead in the Work Completion Tagging Process, In-house Punch List Process, and the Pre-Final Punch List Process to ensure all deficient items are documented and addressed. Ensure material inspections are performed thoroughly and verify products meet specifications and proper storage, staging, and material handling methods are implemented. Manage the coordination of offsite equipment source inspections. Review and approve RFIs to ensure changes are correctly implemented in the field. Strategic leadership and management of the QA/QC team. The position involves approximately 100% field work for Data Center Construction. Role Requirements Minimum of 15 years of construction experience, with a strong emphasis on QA/QC in both electrical and mechanical systems. Proven leadership in managing QA/QC teams and processes in a large-scale construction environment. Ability to interpret complex construction plans, specifications, and codes, particularly for data center projects. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and quality excellence. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with teams, clients, and stakeholders. Strategic decision-making abilities and experience in implementing quality systems across multiple projects. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications in quality management, electrical, or mechanical systems are highly preferred. Must pass drug test, physical, background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving policy. Education Preferred: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on data center systems (both electrical and mechanical). Professional Experience Equivalence: In lieu of formal education, candidates with extensive professional experience demonstrating deep expertise in data center systems (electrical and mechanical) and quality assurance will be considered. Leadership and Strategic Management Education: Advanced degrees or certifications in management or leadership are highly regarded for this role.
