Turner & Townsend  is seeking a  Contract Reviewer  to join our Global Risk Management team. This role is responsible for supporting the operational business in establishing contracts with clients and suppliers, advising on associated risks to mitigate future litigation. This is a hybrid role, with an expectation to work on-site at Turner & Townsend’s Houston office two to three days per week.
Key Requirements: Undertake construction contract reviews, including client and vendor agreements. Provide ad hoc contract advice to operational teams and liaise with clients/their legal teams (where requested) to resolve contractual matters. Liaise with professional liability and general insurance brokers to confirm coverage and respond to queries. Support operational teams through the risk management process to resolve issues and expedite contract execution. Help improve risk management tools, systems, and processes. Work with operational teams to increase risk management awareness, compliance, and capability. SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to, where applicable. Qualifications
Law degree or equivalent legal qualification/experience. Background as a construction paralegal or attorney with hands-on experience reviewing client contracts and business operations vendor contracts. Minimum 2 years in a corporate construction legal position, with experience reviewing and re-drafting supplier and client construction contracts. In-house corporate contract review experience, particularly within the construction industry. Experience in contract development, including drafting contract schedules and clauses, and reviewing contract documents prepared by others. Ability to liaise with and coordinate multiple stakeholders to develop robust contract documents Strong communication skills. Proactive, organized, and thorough with a strong work ethic. Strong administrative skillset – proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).
Additional Information
The salary range for this full-time role is  $80K-$110K  per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package.    Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
