Our client, a leader in the technology industry, is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to join their team. As a Construction Safety Manager, you will be part of the safety department supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Construction Safety Manager
Location: Boydton, VA
Pay Range: $63 - $68/hr on W2
What's the Job?
Implement measures to motivate employees and improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.
Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, and maintenance to detect production problems.
Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff, and resolve personal grievances.
Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records.
What's Needed?
High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in business or related field preferred.
5-7 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within production.
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and techniques for maximizing effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
