Armand Corporation, an award-winning M/WBE Construction Management firm celebrating over 33 years in the industry, is seeking a full-time Scheduler with construction experience in the New York City, NY area.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in the field of construction as a full-time Scheduler, with demonstrated projects they have worked on relating to an array of general construction projects.

This is a full-time, hybrid position in New York, NY.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Review and understand a project’s logistics and constraints and work with the project team in sequencing work activities, evaluating activity durations and lead times, and developing project phasing plans. 
  • Work closely with the Armand project management team as well as clients, design professionals and trade contractors, and to successfully schedule and coordinate all phases of the construction process.
  • Prepare schedules using Primavera P6 software.
  • Prepare cost and resource loaded schedules.
  • Conduct schedule update meetings.
  • Review and analyze construction delays and claims, evaluate requests for time extensions and associated costs, prepare and evaluate schedule fragmentary networks (fragnets), and perform resource leveling studies.
  • Perform other tasks to support the Armand project management team.

QUALIFICATIONS include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • An associate's degree from an accredited college or university in a field related to construction required; a bachelor or advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years of professional experience working directly as a full-time Scheduler involved in commercial construction projects, preferably in the New York City Metropolitan area.
  • Certification in Primavera P6 strongly preferred.
  • The candidate should have a thorough understanding of one or more construction trades (i.e. sitework and foundations, architectural and superstructure, Mechanical/ Electrical/ Plumbing (MEP), and low voltage systems), with broad exposure to multiple disciplines a plus.
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office, Procore, and similar construction scheduling software required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Fluent in English with strong verbal/written communication skills
