: Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Construction Scheduler to join our team! In this role you will be working at the project field office responsible for P6 schedule maintenance, forecasting and progress control.
What You'll Be Doing:
On-Site Support providing quality assurance scheduling services specific to the following definable features of work: horizontal and vertical construction, mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) installation, earthwork, aggregate processing, concrete placement, and testing.
Provide review and analysis of general contractor’s schedules for construction of industrial plant and reactive materials plant facilities. Provide assistance and technical guidance to engineers and construction managers exercising construction oversight and design management for construction program.
Manage multiple priorities and, when requested, independently develop and provide technical recommendations/solutions regarding scheduling issues and time impacts on complex problems encountered during the administration of the construction contracts.
Routinely communicate and coordinate with other technical and non- technical personnel and provide schedule related support where needed.
Provide support during the RFP development phase of project to ensure an appropriate construction duration is established.
Review schedules and provide recommendations as necessary when selection factors involve the submission of a proposed contractor schedule.
Review contractor baseline schedule submissions to determine that they comply with contract requirements for format, structure, and content.
Work with onsite project team in review of monthly update schedules to ensure they are historically accurate, consistent with the baseline, and show timely performance.
Provide review and analysis of contractor claimed time impacts.
Assist in recovery discussions with a contractor after a time impact has been realized.
Perform “what-if” analysis for potential time impacts.
Provide schedule training to field office personnel covering basic understanding of network analysis schedules, critical path method, time impact analysis, baseline, progress, and as-built schedule reviews, and software usage.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
An associate degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
A minimum of 5+ years of construction scheduling experience in vertical and horizontal construction.
Registration from the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE) as a Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) is highly desirable.
Experience in preparing or analyzing Time-Impact-Analysis as it relates to time extension requests or claims.
Ability to evaluate Contractor’s baseline schedules and monthly updates.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and Procore software to maintain and file construction documents.
Registration from the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE) as a Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) is highly desirable.
Developed soft skills that allow one to work effectively with other professionals, client representatives, contractor management and labor personnel, and others of varying backgrounds and experiences.
