Job Description

This Sr. Project Manager will be responsible for:

  • 7+ years of project management experience
  • Overseeing scheduling, budgets, documentation, etc. of project from beginning to end
  • Overseeing the management of successful construction projects
  • Preparing reports on construction progress and cost for clients
  • Being client-facing and maintaining the client relationship
  • Negotiating, awarding, and administering all subcontractors, purchase orders, and change orders on construction projects
  • Traveling to job site 1-2 days a week

The Successful Applicant

In return for a high value compensation package, a successful candidate will possess the following:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related experience
  • Experience managing projects in Chicago
  • Experience with commercial, public, municipal, JOC projects
  • Experience in overseeing projects from inception to completion
  • Experience with project scope development, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and contract negotiations
  • Proficient in software applications including Microsoft Office Suite, project scheduling software, and web-based applications
