Salary:

The Site Superintendent will oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves managing subcontractors, coordinating with project managers, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations and building codes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate all on-site activities, including construction work, materials management, and subcontractor performance.
  • Lead, motivate, and supervise construction crews and subcontractors, ensuring productivity and adherence to project specifications.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Inspect work to ensure it meets quality standards and complies with building codes and project specifications.
  • Enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment and comply with OSHA regulations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the construction site and project management team. Provide regular updates on project status, issues, and concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including work completed, labor hours, and materials used. Prepare and submit necessary reports and documentation.
  • Identify and resolve issues that arise during construction, including delays, conflicts, and technical challenges.
  • Monitor project expenses and ensure that work is performed within the allocated budget. Report any discrepancies to the project manager.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role in the construction industry.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in Construction Management or a related field is a plus but not required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office.
  • In-depth understanding of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification and CPR/First Aid Certification preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift and carry materials, work in various weather conditions, and navigate construction sites.
