Construction Superintendent / Field Project Manager (PM)

Our client is looking for a Construction Superintendent/ Field Project Manager ("Field Project Manager") who will oversee and manage multiple construction projects. As Field Project Manager, you work directly with the Director of Construction to ensure the completion of each project on time and within budget, providing continual communication to to staff customers throughout the project, Your work will a hybrid between office work and onsite (outdoors) work at the job site.

As Field Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing multiple small-scale construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring efficiency, cost control, and quality. This role requires a dynamic individual who combines on-site leadership with project management responsibilities, coordinating subcontractors, managing schedules, and maintaining excellent communication with stakeholders. If you're the right candidate, you will be solution-oriented, maintain a positive attitude, and lead by example - ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

We are looking for a Field Project Manager who is a hands-on leader who excels in a dynamic and evolving work setting and takes ownership of every project from the field, demonstrating resilience, determination, grit, and proactive problem-solving.

What You'll be Doing:

  1. Supervising all laborers, subcontractors, and suppliers to verify that work is performed according to the project schedule, specifications and plans.
  2. Conducting weekly site meetings with subcontractors to review scheduling, work sequencing, and job site safety.
  3. Planning and coordinating all construction material procurement, tracking inventory and ensuring timely availability for each project.
  4. Planning and coordinating all necessary equipment, machinery, and tool usage for each project, maintaining proper operations and compliance with safety regulations.
  5. Directing and mentoring support labor, including carpenters and laborers, assisting in any additional site work beyond subcontractor scope.
  6. Maintaining detailed project records, including daily reports, look-ahead schedules, and progress documentation.
  7. Ensuring all close-out documentation, warranties, and punch lists are completed efficiently.
