Construction Superintendent - Mechanical & Plumbing

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Superintendent to lead the construction of custom residential and commercial pools . This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who understands the intricacies of pool building—from excavation and structural work to plumbing, finishes, and final commissioning.

As Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring quality control, and delivering exceptional results that meet client expectations and design specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all phases of custom pool construction, including excavation, forming, plumbing, electrical, shotcrete/gunite, tiling, decking, and startup
Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, vendors, and inspections to ensure timely and efficient project execution
Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with local building codes and environmental regulations
Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and project documentation
Collaborate with designers, engineers, and clients to ensure the pool meets aesthetic and functional goals
Manage quality control, ensuring premium materials and craftsmanship are delivered
Troubleshoot issues on-site and implement solutions to keep projects on track
Conduct final walk throughs and ensure client satisfaction upon project completion
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in pool construction, with a focus on custom and luxury builds
Strong understanding of pool construction methods, materials, and systems (hydraulics, filtration, automation)
Experience with high-end finishes such as glass tile, natural stone, and specialty lighting
Familiarity with construction management software and scheduling tools
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, structural plans, and technical specifications
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
OSHA 30 certification preferred
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed
