Construction Superintendent - Multifamily

We are seeking an experienced and driven Construction Superintendent with a strong background in multifamily construction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking through project completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
As the lead on the construction site, the Superintendent will coordinate subcontractors, enforce site safety protocols, manage inspections, and maintain daily communication with project managers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day field operations on multifamily construction sites (e.g., apartments, townhomes, podium, or garden-style buildings).
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site labor to ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Monitor progress and quality of work, ensuring adherence to building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Conduct daily site walkthroughs, safety meetings, and quality control inspections.
- Work closely with project managers and engineers to resolve field issues and maintain construction timelines.
- Ensure site logistics, cleanliness, and safety practices are followed at all times.
- Communicate effectively with city inspectors, utility providers, and other regulatory agencies.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, photo documentation, and schedule updates.
- Manage punch lists and project closeout activities.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field
- 6+ years of superintendent experience in ground-up or podium-stylemultifamily construction.
- Strong understanding of residential building systems, including wood framing, MEP trades, exterior systems, and finishes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and meet project milestones.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, specifications, and construction schedules.
- Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Buildertrend, or similar platforms.
- OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
