Position: Superintendent - Santa Barbara, CA
Responsibilities:
Hold pre-construction tactics (Plan Constructability Review, Site Logistics, Schedule Coordination)
Manage commitments effectivelymake requests, hold promises, gather assertions, provide assessments
Create, maintain, and enforce a safe jobsite environment
Produce, maintain, and execute project schedule
Help ensure compliance with budget
Supervise and coordinate all construction activities, including trade contractors
Ensure materials and workmanship meet quality standards and design requirements
Coordinate with engineers, designers, inspectors, authorities, and clients
Advise project manager of potential issues impacting budget, schedule, quality, or safety
Maintain project tactics, schedule, 3-week look ahead, and daily reports
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience as a Superintendent
Experience in Multi-Family Unit Construction
Experience or background in Vertical Concrete Apprenticeship or related trades (preferred)
Deep knowledge of construction industry practices, specifications, plans, materials, methods, and procedures
Proven safety leadership and experience leading large subcontractor teams
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and operational systems
Skill in assessing trade performance and managing project schedules, including critical path analysis
Ability to resolve on-site issues and escalate appropriately
