As Superintendent , you will play a critical role in ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Project Management & Supervision Overseeing multiple projects simultaneously (typically 1-3 at a time) and ensuring they stay on schedule and within budget. Managing and coordinating 4-5 crews , ensuring optimal workforce distribution and productivity. Conducting daily job site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, company quality standards, and safety regulations. Monitoring job progress and proactively identifying and resolving any challenges that may impact project timelines or quality. Reviewing and interpreting project plans, blueprints, and specifications, ensuring proper implementation by field crews. Team Leadership & Training Providing ongoing training and mentorship to team members, particularly in irrigation and landscape installation and maintenance techniques . Conducting morning preparedness routines , including crew assignments, stretching exercises, and weekly safety toolbox talks to promote a strong safety culture. Ensuring all team members are properly equipped with and using PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) . Leading by example in professionalism, work ethic, and adherence to company policies and safety standards. Safety & Compliance Implementing and enforcing all OSHA and company-specific safety protocols to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment. Identifying potential safety hazards and ensuring proper corrective measures are taken. Completing and maintaining required safety documentation, accident reports, and compliance records. Operational Coordination & Reporting Communicating effectively with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns. Coordinating material deliveries, equipment usage, and subcontractor schedules to maintain workflow efficiency. Tracking and reporting crew hours, progress updates, and any project-related issues. Ensuring the proper maintenance and operation of company tools, vehicles, and equipment. Quality Control & Client Relations Conducting final walkthroughs and punch-list inspections to ensure all work meets quality standards before project completion. Addressing client concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction with completed projects. Upholding company reputation and professionalism in all interactions with clients, vendors, and team members.
