As the Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in managing our on-site operations and field team, contributing significantly to the overall success of our company. Collaborating closely with management, you will oversee the coordination and management of projects from initiation to completion. You will be tasked with overseeing daily on-site operations, taking charge of coordinating and leading project teams, including Foreman and other personnel.

*Primary Duties:*

* Lead by example on all project sites, fostering a high-performing team environment * Supervise daily site activities, ensuring efficient task completion and overseeing all aspects of assigned projects to meet customer expectations. * Review job specifications to ensure preparedness of materials, tools, and equipment before the team arrives at the job site. * Participate in pre-construction meetings with the team to establish a cohesive plan for successful project execution, including time allotment, tools needed, and the order of work * Assign duties to the crew for efficient task completion, adhering to project schedules and milestones * Engage with clients and subcontractors to address concerns and ensure satisfaction * Efficiently allocate resources, including labor, equipment, and materials * Enforce quality control measures to meet project standards * Exceed safety requirements established by the company and OSHA, promoting a safe work environment * Read and interpret drawings, executing tasks accordingly. * Communicate regularly with the Project Manager, providing updates on project progress * Address on-site challenges and problem-solve in real-time. * Oversee projects, including but not limited to clearing, demolition, sewer taps, foundation prep, concrete prep, underground utilities, and grading * Adapt to weather conditions to complete jobs year-round * Maintain a focus on personal and company growth

*Minimum Qualifications:*

* Minimum of 10 years of experience in excavation or construction supervision, with a strong understanding of excavation processes and equipment * Willingness and desire to get dirty and in the trenches with your team * Willingness to create a culture of accountability, hard work and fun * Must be physically fit to perform manual labor in all types of environments and conditions, including heavy lifting (in excess of 50 lbs.) * Knowledge of construction contracts, legal requirements, and industry standards * Ability to read and interpret blueprints and execute accordingly * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks * Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members * Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines * Ability to operate heavy equipment (Skid Steer, Excavator, Loader, Dozer, etc.) * Strong dedication to promoting a safety-first culture and ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards at all times * Possess a coachable mindset and be eager to learn * Ability and desire to assist Foreman(s) and other team members with their professional development * Team player who is motivated to succeed * Problem solver who looks to create solutions

*Preferred Qualifications:*

* Class A Commercial Driver’s License * OSHA 30 Construction Certification * Previous experience in a supervisory role * Strong site excavation and development construction management knowledge * Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field; and/or related certifications are a plus
