Superintendent Location: Albany, GA - local travel, multiple sites/projects in the area. Schedule: Monday-Friday 40 hours - hours could vary depending on construcion schedule. Direct Hire: $125,000

Insight Global is looking for a Superintendent to support a newly awarded USACE stormwater improvement project in Albany, GA. In this role you will work with the programmatic team and be responsible for field activities and will require responsibility for overall project safety performance.
Day to Day: Review and use project schedules to plan and direct field activities. Provide liaison between field engineering and crafts to ensure construction complies with drawings and specifications. Safely and efficiently supervise large scale heavy earth moving construction projects. Train craft labor in the function and intended use of construction equipment on projects. Communicate with and lead a team composed of different crafts and subcontractors. Recognize potential changes and other project impacts and assist project management with notices and claims. Oversee work performance and productivity of crafts and subcontractors to ensure project rules, procedures, specifications, safety requirements, etc. are followed. Assist with selection and hiring of project craft personnel. Ensure craft timecards accurately reflect hours and job tasks worked. Advise project management of potential changes (scope and conditions), potential problems, work interferences, schedule difficulties, etc.; assist in circumventing /resolving such problems as required. Assist in planning work schedule, determining manpower levels, material quantities, equipment requirements, etc. at least 2 weeks in advance. Committed to and responsible for Safety Culture & actively involved in project Health and Safety, including: Enforces the site and corporate Health and Safety Plans Works with the site Health and Safety Officer Ability to review project hazard analysis
Must Haves: 6+ YOE as a site superintendent, field manager, construction manager or similar field oversight role. 3+ YOE supporting U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) projects Civil Works construction project experience, such as: Levee/flood wall construction, installation of pump stations, flood/erosion control, storm sewer upgrades, drainage upgrades, stormwater systems, or restoration sites, wetland or mitigation site construction, streambank restoration, riprap placement etc. OSHA 40-hr
Pluses: QCM certified – if expired, will take through refresher Experience using RMS (USACE Resident Management System) EM 385-1-1 HAZWOPER
