Responsibilities Lead and manage daily field operations across multiple civil crews on commercial sitework projects Set the standard for work ethic and culture by leading with humility, energy, and accountability Coordinate schedules, manpower, and equipment needs with leadership and the fleet team Proactively identify and communicate project issues, initiating RFIs and change orders as needed Support the integration of time-tracking and field management tools to improve efficiency Train and mentor young, eager crew members to strengthen team performance and readiness Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and timeline expectations across job sites Collaborate closely with the Founder and Senior Estimator to plan upcoming work and align field execution with company goals Qualifications 2-5+ years of experience as a Superintendent preferred Proven experience coordinating crews, managing field operations, and leading commercial sitework projects (grading, utilities, etc.) Strong working knowledge of estimating, scheduling, and field coordination processes and desire to grow and influence the future direction of Villarreal Ability to initiate and manage RFIs, change orders, and pricing adjustments through to client approval while maintaining key communication with estimating department Familiarity estimating software preferred Interest in implementing and adopting new field management tools Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage 4-5 crews, mentor young teams, and build trust on the ground Humble, hungry, and smart-someone who can take ownership, lead by example, and influence the company's long-term field operations strategy *Villarreal has contracted FireSeeds Recruiting to lead this search and will not accept submissions from other recruiting firms.
