JJWelch Construction has an Immediate opening for an experienced construction superintendent to oversee commercial renovation and ground-up construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of proven experience working for a general contractor managing the day-to-day field operations including site logistics, subcontractor coordination, and quality/safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all on-site construction activities for commercial renovation and ground-up projects. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and laborers. Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, building codes, and safety regulations. Conduct regular site meetings and provide updates to project team. Oversee site safety, ensuring all personnel comply with OSHA and company safety policies. Perform daily site inspections to maintain quality control and resolve field issues. Review and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications. Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and city officials. Maintain accurate site documentation including daily reports.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of superintendent experience in commercial ground-up and renovation construction (retail, restaurant, office, and multi-use projects) Deep understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and budgeting. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Proficient in project management software, Microsoft Office - Procore OSHA 30 certification preferred MA Construction Superintendent License
