Ø Supervise all on-site construction activities. Ø Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Ø Monitor work progress and quality to ensure compliance with safety and building standards. Ø Manage and coordinate site workers, subcontractors, and labour crews. Ø Assign tasks and provide guidance to workers. Ø Resolve any on-site personnel issues and conflicts. Ø Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and company policies. Ø Conduct regular site inspections to identify and correct hazards. Ø Organize toolbox talks and safety briefings. Ø Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents. Ø Assist in developing work schedules and coordinating delivery of materials and equipment. Ø Adjust work schedules to accommodate weather delays or supply issues. Ø Report project status to project managers, engineers, or other senior personnel. Ø Act as the main point of contact for subcontractors and vendors on-site. Ø Facilitate communication between stakeholders and site personnel. Ø Inspect completed work for accuracy, quality, and adherence to plans and specifications. Ø Ensure use of proper construction techniques and materials. Ø Maintain daily logs of site activity, incidents, and progress. Ø Prepare reports on labour, equipment, and material usage. Ø Document any changes to original plans (change orders). Ø Oversee procurement and usage of materials and equipment. Ø Prevent wastage of materials and manage inventory efficiently. Ø Address and resolve issues that may delay project timelines. Ø Recommend improvements to construction methods and site practices. Ø Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes, laws, and regulations. Ø Coordinate inspections with regulatory authorities as needed.
