Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) Job Description Monitor the activities of all personnel on the SCS at all times.
Document the construction activities of all persons on the SCS.
Document all security incidents that occur on the SCS.
Perform in-depth inspections of construction materials, tools, and equipment in accordance with the CSP, prior to and after their use/installation, ensuring all items are free of tampering and identifying all anomalies.
Use specialized equipment such as the Non-Linear Junction Detector, Spectrum Analyzer, and Portable X-Ray machine for material inspections.
Provide personnel trained in the use of Technical Surveillance Counter-Measures (TSCM) equipment to effectively utilize such equipment during material inspections.
Conduct all material inspections at the direction of the SSM.
Identify anomalies and variances in finished construction work against the official project construction plans.
Perform close-in/seal-in inspections as directed by the CSP, SSM, and SSC.
Perform access control functions, including personnel and bag searches, and prevent the entry of unauthorized persons, materials, and equipment.
Carry out opening and closing procedures of the SCS each day as directed by the SSM.
Operations may include 24/7/365 shifts, with hours subject to change based on mission requirements.
Willingness to work at multiple locations within the National Capital Region.
