*Job Summary:* The New Home Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful and timely completion of new homes, as well as providing outstanding post-closing support to homeowners. This position is responsible for performing various tasks related to home construction and homeowner walkthroughs, ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction are met.

*Key Responsibilities:*

* *Construction Support:* Assist with various construction tasks as needed to maintain project schedules and quality standards. This may include light carpentry, painting touch-ups, minor drywall repairs, and other general maintenance. Complete job site cleanup daily by collecting and disposing of scrap, excess materials, and refuse. * *Quality Control:* Conduct thorough inspections of homes at various stages of completion to identify and address any deficiencies or quality issues before homeowner occupancy. * *Homeowner Walkthroughs:* Professionally conduct repairs as needed during walk thru to ensure home is ready prior to closing. * *Customer Service:* Maintain a high level of customer service, responding to homeowner inquiries and concerns with professionalism and a problem-solving attitude. * *Material Handling:* Safely lift and move materials, tools, and equipment up to 50 pounds as required for various tasks. * *Tool and Equipment Management:* Maintain and organize tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order and available when needed. * *Safety Compliance:* Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for themselves and others. * *Communication:* Effectively communicate with foreman, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of issues.

*Qualifications:*

* *Valid Driver's License:* A current and valid driver's license with a clean driving record is *required* for this position. * *Physical Stamina:* Ability to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions. * *Construction Experience:* 1-3 years of experience in residential construction, maintenance, or a related field preferred. * *Customer Service Skills:* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer service orientation. * *Problem-Solving Abilities:* Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently and effectively. * *Attention to Detail:* Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. * *Technical Aptitude:* Basic understanding of home systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC) preferred. * *Tools:* Proficient in the use of hand and power tools commonly used in residential construction and maintenance. * *Technology Knowledge: *email, apps * *Reliability:* Punctual and dependable, with a strong work ethic. * Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
