Indian Valley Vocational Center is seeking a *motivated and experienced Construction Trades Instructor* to teach 11th and 12th grade students in a safe, hands-on learning environment. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by preparing students for careers in the construction industry.

*Minimum Requirements* * Eligible for Illinois State Board of Education *CTE Certification* * *8,000+ hours of industry experience* * Proficient in integrating *technology into instruction*

*Preferred Qualifications* * Experience teaching or supervising high school students * Knowledge of industry certifications and hands-on skills training

*Key Responsibilities* * Deliver a *competency-based curriculum* aligned with academic standards * Promote student *work-based learning* (internships, job shadows) * Collaborate with community partners and maintain an *Advisory Committee*

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,592.00 - $57,029.00 per year
