Do you like big boy toys? Wolff Excavating, Inc in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a hardworking Construction Truck Driver (CDL A) to join our team!

As a construction truck driver, you will be responsible for transporting materials and heavy equipment to and from construction sites. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.

HOURS: The typical schedule is M – F, 7am to 4pm. Overtime is often offered during busy times.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck (26,000 pounds GVW and up): primarily dump truck, side dump, and transport heavy equipment.
• Properly track and document activity
• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Perform basic maintenance on trucks/trailers
• Physical labor as needed
• Abide by all local, state, and federal regulations and company safety procedures

Requirements:

• Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields is preferred
• Commercial driver's license, Class A with medical card
• Certified to operate a standard transmission and fifth wheel
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Upon job offer, must pass DOT drug and alcohol screening tests, driving record review, and consent to a FMCSA query
• Must not be under 21 years of age
• Strong work ethic and physical ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Have reliable transportation
