My client is located in Bowie, MD, has been a reputable player in the industry for over 20 years. We specialize in large-scale government projects, ranging up to $70M+. Our company is renowned for its solution-focused approach and places a major emphasis on team building. Our core services include Anti-Terrorism, general contracting in secure environments, and SCIF design construction.
Job Description
- As-Built Drawings & Safety Plans: Regularly review as-built drawings and job site safety plans to ensure they are accurate, current, and compliant with contract documents and applicable safety regulations.
- Training & Leadership: Lead engaging educational sessions on quality control practices and safety protocols for employees, ensuring alignment with project standards.
- Program Development: Create, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality control and safety programs that meet construction standards, federal requirements, and client expectations.
- Compliance Oversight: Monitor and enforce compliance with OSHA regulations, federal contract requirements, and company safety policies.
- Incident Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations of safety incidents, identify root causes, and develop corrective action plans.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to foster a proactive safety culture on all job sites.

The Successful Applicant
- Proven experience in construction safety management, preferably in the federal construction space.
- Strong understanding of OSHA standards, safety regulations, and federal contract compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office for reporting, documentation, and communication.
- OSHA 30 Certification required.
- Excellent leadership, training, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel to project sites within the DC Metro area.
- Someone strong in communication
