The Director of Business Development is responsible for leading a team of Physician and Clinical Liaisons to grow revenue and market share for UVVC.This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of UVVC's expansion as we enter New York & New Jersey! The candidate must live within New York/New Jersey or Pennsylvania.Ensures consistent team member performance in accordance with training and deployment objectives.Responsible for team performance, development, and retention of top talent.Screens, recruits, and makes hiring decisions in collaboration with Talent Acquisition.Partners with HR, Operations, Training, and COO to develop and implement training programs for Physician/Clinical Liaisons.Conducts regular coaching through ride-alongs, requiring travel up to 50% of the time.Ensures team navigates the referral relationship funnel and sales cycle effectively.Creates sales plans with each Physician and Clinical Liaison to meet growth targets.Develops clear communication strategies for each territory and ensures effective deployment.Holds regular strategy and planning meetings with the team and individual members.Conducts performance reviews and sets developmental objectives.Participates in setting annual, quarterly, and monthly growth objectives, and collaborates on referral portfolio planning.Uses data to evaluate strategy effectiveness and team performance.Partners with leadership to set and manage budgets for each territory.Prepares activity and performance reports for leadership.Monitors market and competitor information and reports on financial performance.Collaborates with Physicians to understand and address barriers to referral growth.Works with Marketing and Operations on workflow improvements and team assignments.Shares best practices and program enhancements across UVC.Ensures compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA.Manages expense reports and promotes a work culture aligned with UVVC’s Core Values.Maintains confidentiality of PHI and adheres to legal standards.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Public Affairs, or related field; MBA preferred.Minimum 5 years in outside sales, business development, or related experience.3-5 years working with medical professionals or in medical Operations/Marketing.Experience with budgeting, reporting, and data analysis.Ability to leverage market data to identify opportunities and drive referral growth.Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations (HIPAA, Stark Laws, Sarbanes-Oxley).Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint.Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational skills.Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.Dependability with reliable attendance and auto insurance coverage.About us:UVVC is a leading provider of vein and vascular care with over 45 clinics across multiple states.
