Role Summary: The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of quality experience, and will be responsible for leading and overseeing a team of Quality Managers, Quality Engineers, and administrative staff. The Quality Director ensures supervision is carried out in alignment with company policies and all relevant laws. Key responsibilities include: recruiting, hiring, and onboarding team members; setting goals and assigning tasks; evaluating performance; recognizing achievements and addressing performance issues; and managing employee concerns and conflict resolution. Project Type: New Construction across Automotive, Commercial, Civil, Energy, Food & Beverage, Healthcare, Heavy Industrial, Industrial Process, and Wastewater ($600M+) Job Responsibilities: Communicates defined, measurable quality objectives to senior leadership to support organizational performance goals. Captures and disseminates lessons learned, integrating them into the Company’s standard procedures and continuous improvement initiatives. Administers and ensures ongoing compliance with Company code and certification programs, including AISC, ASME Code Stamp, NBIC, NQA-1, PCI, and other applicable industry standards. Develops, implements, and maintains electronic welding procedure specifications in accordance with AWS and ASME Section IX requirements. Reviews and interprets engineering drawings, technical specifications, and applicable codes to ensure employees and contractors are equipped with the necessary quality plans, procedures, and certifications. Performs unannounced audits at project sites to verify compliance with Company policies, procedures, and contract specifications. Travels to Company and subsidiary offices, client sites, subcontractor and supplier facilities, and other locations across North America to execute the essential responsibilities of the role. Demonstrates consistent and dependable in-person attendance in alignment with supervisory expectations, Company policies, and project requirements. Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related is preferred. 10-5 years experience in Quality for reputable General Contractors / Subcontractors on large-scale projects Willingness to travel or pass background/drug screen Eligibility to work in the U.S. Legal & EEO Language: Tiello LLC is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
