If you're ready to bring your expertise to a company where your impact will be visible, valued, and vital, we’d love to meet you.Location:This position is based at our Fort Wayne, IN office.Note:This is not a remote position.What You’ll Own and DriveAs Divisional Controller, you’ll be at the financial helm of one of our fastest-growing divisions. You’ll partner with project leaders and executive stakeholders to ensure financial clarity, operational efficiency, and strategic foresight.Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting: Lead the monthly Work In Process (WIP) reporting process, create divisional entries, and review job projections to ensure accuracy and insight.Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to support ongoing projects and operational needs, including oversight of Accounts Receivable collections and weekly check runs.Internal Controls: Establish and uphold strong internal controls and financial policies that protect company assets and support compliance.Team Leadership: Mentor and guide the project accounting team, fostering a culture of growth, accountability, and excellence.Collaboration: Partner with project managers and divisional leadership to ensure accurate project costing and financial transparency.Risk Management: Identify financial risks and develop proactive strategies to mitigate them—especially at the project level.What You BringBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.10+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role—construction industry experience strongly preferred.Deep knowledge of financial reporting standards and internal controls.Advanced Excel skills for modeling and reporting; proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.Experience with Procore and CMiC accounting systems.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.What We OfferWhen you join Hagerman, you help build the future—so it only makes sense that we invest in yours.
