The Role
Wood is looking for a Construction Manager with extensive experience in managing complex construction projects ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The Construction Manager will represent Wood on site and be responsible for organizing, managing and administering all site activities in accordance with the company’s operating policies and principles and relevant legislation and Client requirements.
The Construction Manager will manage and control construction cost and schedule and oversee the planning, execution, and completion projects. This role requires extensive experience leading teams and collaborating with various stakeholders. Responsible for management of installation, commissioning and completion activities.
The Construction Manager assures the quality and integrity of each project, bringing projects in on schedule and within budget. Using in-house construction management procedures and experience, provide continuity and consistency of construction management with quality assurance and reliable control.
Oversees total construction field effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, specifications, budgets and schedules.

Expected: Typically minimum qualified to ISCED Level 5 (technical diploma / apprenticeship) or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience. Must be eligible to work in the USA without sponsorship. Candidates would ideally be located in GA, NC, TX, UT, or states adjacent to those. Knowledge, skills and experience Appropriate level of field construction experience, typically gained through a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant industry Experience in Heavy Commercial construction projects including Warehouses, Pharmaceutical, Interiors, Manufacturing Facilities, Laboratories, and Federal projects. Able to establish and maintain a positive and effective customer relationship, ensuring payment terms are met, and communicating any delays Personal attributes Well organized, observant, good interpersonal and communication skills Display both good judgment and leadership qualities Ability to work with timelines/targets.
