At Lee Kimball, we believe a home should deliver joy, day after day, year after year. With 85+ years of award-winning design-build experience, we've built a reputation for craftsmanship, creativity, and client-first service. Now, we're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Estimating & PreConstruction Coordinator to join our team. If you thrive in a structured environment, enjoy synthesizing information across departments, and bring a methodical mindset to process improvement, we'd love to meet you!

What You'll Do

In this role, you'll be the connective tissue between design, production, and trade teams-coordinating pre-construction activities, maintaining data accuracy, and managing estimating systems that directly impact our project success. You will:

  • Develop accurate scopes of work and detailed estimates using our CRM platform (CoConstruct), adapting project templates based on architectural plans and team input.
  • Coordinate site walkthroughs with trades, designers, and project managers to support precise pricing and scoping.
  • Compile and distribute bid packages to subcontractors; collect and enter trade bids, vendor pricing, and labor estimates into CoConstruct.
  • Track material costs, fixture selections, and procurement lead times to maintain accurate and current project specifications.
  • Maintain and update specifications and estimates throughout the design development process.
  • Create and manage project schedules and procurement timelines.
  • Assist with change orders, budget reviews, and cost-tracking for ongoing project refinement.
  • Work closely with leadership to streamline and optimize company systems, ensuring repeatable, high-performance operational standards.

What You Bring

  • Solid understanding of construction project lifecycles, estimating processes, and residential remodeling
  • Familiarity with reading architectural and construction plans and specifications
  • Working knowledge of CRM platforms (CoConstruct preferred), MS Excel, Word, and project scheduling tools
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple estimating packages simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of interfacing with internal and external stakeholders professionally
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail, ensuring precision in budgets, specifications, and data tracking
  • Ability to synthesize and manage complex information with minimal supervision
  • Capable of adjusting priorities based on changing project timelines and scopes
  • Able to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams

Other Attributes

  • A proactive mindset with a continuous improvement attitude
  • Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
  • Committed to delivering high-quality work and upholding company values

Why Join Lee Kimball?

  • Be part of a legacy brand that's recognized for excellence in design and construction
  • Thrive in a collaborative, mission-driven culture where your contribution directly impacts client satisfaction
  • Enjoy career growth opportunities, professional development, and exposure to high-caliber projects
  • Join a team that values systems thinking, attention to detail, and a deep respect for craftsmanship

Ready to Build Better with Lee Kimball? If you're excited by process, energized by data, and driven by quality, we encourage you to apply.
