Job Overview: JTE Drywall and Paint is seeking a driven and knowledgeable Estimator to take the lead on drywall and paint project bids while actively supporting field communication and project execution. This full-time, onsite role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with industry experience and a passion for both numbers and teamwork. Key Responsibilities:- Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for drywall and paint projects- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and job scopes to create takeoffs and proposals- Communicate clearly with field workers to ensure alignment between estimating and execution- Collaborate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to source pricing and timelines- Track project opportunities, bids, and success rates- Assist in managing awarded projects from estimate to handoff and completion- Stay updated on market pricing, construction trends, and labor costs- Represent JTE Drywall and Paint professionally to clients and partners- Maintain documentation and organize estimate files for easy tracking and review

Qualifications:- 5+ years of experience in drywall and/or paint estimating preferred- Solid understanding of commercial construction processes and materials- Excellent communication skills, especially with field crews and subcontractors- Positive attitude and a collaborative, team-first mentality- Self-starter who is motivated by growth and performance- Proficient with estimating software, spreadsheets, and reading blueprints- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
