Key Responsibilities
Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications Develop detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates covering all trades Solicit, compare, and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing Support bid strategies, value engineering, scheduling, and presentations Provide continuous coordination with project teams during pre‑construction
Qualifications
2+ years in commercial construction estimating or pre‑construction Strong working knowledge of construction methods, materials, and systems Proficient with estimating tools Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and deadlines Exceptional written/verbal communication and relationship-building abilities
