#scrcane  Road Construction Estimator – Striping Industry Rancho Cordova, CA $28–$35/hour (DOE) We’re seeking an experienced Road Construction Estimator with specialized knowledge in pavement striping and roadway markings to join our growing team. What You’ll Do: Analyze bid packages, blueprints, and project specs to prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates Interpret DOT and Caltrans specs to ensure compliance Solicit and review vendor and subcontractor quotes Prepare comprehensive bid proposals, cost breakdowns, and supporting documents Maintain cost history databases and assist in market trend tracking Collaborate closely with project managers and operations staff to ensure smooth handoffs Attend pre-bid meetings and conduct site visits as needed Manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously What We’re Looking For: Hands-on experience estimating pavement striping, roadway markings, or related road construction Proficiency in estimating tools such as On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, and Excel Deep knowledge of Caltrans, DOT, and public works requirements Strong math, communication, and organizational skills Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Self-starter with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Schedule: Full-time, onsite Compensation: $28–$35/hour, based on experience Location: Rancho Cordova, CA  PandoLogic.
