Company Summary:

Montana Construction, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.

Role

We are seeking a motivated Field Engineer to support Project Managers and Superintendents with scheduling, verifying installation quantities, field quality inspections and as-built data drawings. Must be a self-starter and motivated to learn and grow knowledge.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers and Superintendents with simultaneous tasks across multiple projects and clients.
  • Effectively communicate and partner with teammates and colleagues to successfully complete projects.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs for various construction materials and activities.
  • Create and update project schedules.
  • Perform field verifications, inspections and measurements.
  • Evaluate daily productions to accurately track project performance.
  • Maintain and verify daily reports.
  • Assist Superintendents with coordination of inventory and material deliveries.
  • Learn to effectively communicate with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business.
  • 1+ years of Construction Management experience or beginner knowledge of Construction Management is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to take responsibility, interface and communicate effectively with others.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be flexible in working in both office and field environments as needed.
  • Must be a self-starter and highly motivated.
  • Must have strong organization skills.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

  • Subject to pre-employment background check and motor vehicle report review.
  • Subject to pre-employment physical, medical evaluation, and drug screen
  • Successfully complete and maintain any required safety certification and testing on an annual basis.
