We are looking to add a motivated and experienced CrossFit Coach to our growing team! CrossFit 8035 has been a fixture in the Des Moines community since 2013 and is part of a growing collective of gyms with locations in Downtown DSM, Grimes, and Waukee. This role will coach on average 15-20 Functional Fitness classes per week at CrossFit 8035 (Downtown DSM) AND 8035 Fitness (Grimes). For the right candidate, there is high potential to grow into a full-time, salaried role with managerial duties! Experience working with youth ages 10-14 is a plus! JOB DESCRIPTION Manager-level candidates will be responsible for the performance of their location and lead efforts to attract and retain members and grow the business, in addition to providing a first-class coaching experience. Lead group fitness classes for varied populations, primarily at our Downtown and Grimes functional fitness locations Greet members and visitors entering the facility to provide a great first impression Know and understand all program offerings as well as the process of signing up new members Attend and contribute to weekly staff meetings Assist as needed with facility improvements, cleanliness, maintenance, individual projects, and implement other initiatives as directed Opportunity to build personal training and nutrition clientele - coaches keep a large portion of the revenue generated Special projects, as assigned, in accordance with skillset and interest, outside of coaching hours, we customize your role to what you're best at!
