With a strong pipeline of upcoming projects averaging over $50M and 80,000 sq ft in size, they are seeking a Project Manager to focus on government work. Job Description

The Government Construction Project Manager - $50M+ | Bowie, MD will be responsible for:

Leading all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
Developing detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget
Collaborating with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to define objectives
Coordinating procurement, scheduling, staffing, and quality control efforts
Managing project budgets, controlling costs, and providing timely financial reporting
Ensuring compliance with building codes, safety standards, and regulations
Conducting regular site visits to track progress and resolve on-site challenges
Anticipating risks and implementing proactive mitigation strategies
Fostering strong client relationships and addressing concerns promptly
Mentoring and guiding project teams to encourage collaboration and accountability

The Successful Applicant

The Government Construction Project Manager - $50M+ | Bowie, MD will have:

Minimum 5 years of experience in federal government construction (required)
Active or eligible for Top Secret Clearance (preferred)
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
Demonstrated success as a Project Manager overseeing construction in sectors such as restaurant, retail, car wash, fitness, and hospitality
In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, workflows, and industry best practices
Strong project planning, scheduling, and organizational skills
Proven leadership with the ability to motivate teams and drive results
Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written, for engaging with internal and external stakeholders
Proficiency with project management tools, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects and meet critical deadlines
Solid understanding of applicable building codes, regulations, and safety protocols
PMP certification or equivalent credentials a plus
